	Pastor Phil Reemtsma Pastor Phil moved up to Alaska with his wife Eileen, who grew up here. He became involved with the youth in an Anchorage Church and eventually accepted a position as a camp director on the Kenai Peninsula. Seven years later, the congregation at Calvary Baptist Church, which was then owned and operated by Baptist Mid-Missions, asked him to come on as Senior Pastor. Pastor Phil has been at Calvary Baptist Church since 1991. He loves to hunt and fish, read and play with his granddaughters.

Pastor Phil has been at Calvary Baptist Church since 1991. He loves to hunt and fish, read and play with his granddaughters.

Associate Pastor Joel Reemtsma is Pastor Phil's son and a recent graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, as well as a graduate of Cedarville University in Ohio. He joined CBC's leadership team in January of 2009 as interim associate pastor. Pastor Joel is the Commander of CBC's Awana kids' ministry. He also teaches the Sr. High Growth Class on Sunday Mornings, leads the Adult Bible Study on Sunday evenings and organizes events.

NATHAN SMITH is one of the longest serving members of CBC's deacon board. A talented musician and vocalist, Nathan has also been leading the Sunday Morning Worship team for several years. He and his wife Monica have two sons, Donovan and Gabriel.	DANIEL MARLOWE has been at CBC for nearly 10 years, and has been serving as our Treasurer for most of that time. He and his wife Alicia have two girls, Natalie and Lydia and one boy, Dmitri.
KEVIN RAINEY plays guitar for CBC's worship-music team in addition to his role as a deacon. He has taught past adult Sunday School classes and he and his wife Cindy often host home Bible Studies. Their two sons are Ronnie and Corey.	TERRY MCBEE is the newest member of our deacon board, and supervises CBC's Sunday morning children's ministries. A skilled artist and retiree, Terry substitute teaches at local high-schools. He and his wife Diane have four grown children: Alexis, Byron, Ira and Cerese. Ira is a full-time missionary with Team Expansion, and one of CBC's supported missionaries.
